In Conversation: Joe Kelly (Award-Winning Comic Book Writer, Show Creator & Freeport Native)

Joe Kelly is a celebrated comic book writer, screenwriter, and co-founder of Man of Action Entertainment. Widely known for redefining Deadpool and writing the acclaimed Superman story “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?,” the Freeport native is also a co-creator of “Ben 10” and “Generator Rex” with his partners in Man Of Action.

Additionally, Kelly is the writer behind the award-winning graphic novel “I Kill Giants” and has recently written “The Amazing Spider-Man” for Marvel Comics.

Patrons can submit questions in advance for the event, which will be hosted by librarian Darren Paltrowitz.
